Welcome to PriceBreak — What This Place Is Actually About
Hey, glad you found this. Let me tell you what's going on here before you dig in.

Who I Am
I'm Jay. I'm a data analyst by day and a full-time deal-finder by hobby-turned-side-hustle. I've been buying and selling on eBay since 2006 — back when it was still kind of a weird thing to do. These days I run a small reselling operation out of my basement in Minnesota, source retro games, clothing, and general goods, and generally spend too much time thinking about arbitrage.
I'm also a dad, an analyst, and the guy who literally sells a box of rocks on Amazon. (Yes, really.)
This is not a get-rich-quick site. This is a "here's what I've actually tried, here's what works, here's what didn't" site. We are just trying to pay for dance here.

What PriceBreak Is
PriceBreak has two lanes:
1. Market Analysis & Reseller Intelligence
This is where I share what I'm finding in the wild — products with real arbitrage potential, market trends worth watching, and breakdowns of where to buy low and flip fast.
Think of it as a running journal of what I'm sourcing, what's moving, and which platforms are worth your time right now. I pull data from sources like PriceCharting, eBay sold listings, and a few Python scripts I've built to surface deals before the crowd catches on.

If you're a reseller — casual or serious — this is the stuff I wish someone had published when I was starting out.
2. Affiliate Recommendations (Real Ones)
I also use this space to share products and tools I actually use. Not paid placements. Not stuff I've never touched. Just things that have genuinely made my reselling life easier or that I'd buy again without hesitation.
That includes reseller tools (crosslisting, ROI tracking, pricing), tech I use daily, and whatever else comes across my desk that's worth talking about.
> Full disclosure: Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you buy through them — at no extra cost to you. I'm an Amazon Associate and work with a few other programs. I only recommend things I actually use.

The YouTube Channel
A lot of what ends up here starts on YouTube. I'm building out a channel where I'll do:
- Price Break of the Week — one solid find, explained
- Tool reviews — honest takes on reseller tools
- Behind the hustle — what it actually looks like to run a small operation
Subscribe on YouTube → (Channel is warming up — subscribe now and be annoyingly early.)

What This Isn't
This isn't a blog written by someone who read about reselling once. I've shipped thousands of packages, burned money on bad buys, and figured out a lot of this the slow way.
PriceBreak is where I document what I know — deals, tools, and the occasional honest take on what's overrated.
Stick around. It's going to be useful.
— Jay
