The good

The eBay-sourced items did what they were supposed to do.

Tetris 2 for SNES kept carrying the batch, even though the payout dropped a bit on 4/21.

The problem

My rule on these batches is typically a 30% net profit margin minimum.

This batch’s major miss was Beyblade: Metal Fusion (NDS).

I bought it from GameStop, so I assumed the floor was at least something, even with what looked like . . . bite marks. QuickFlips flagged it as counterfeit and paid $0.00.

That one is on me. I didn’t inspect it closely because it came from GameStop. Apparently that was too much trust.

The other miss

The FIFA 17 (Xbox 360) loss felt more debatable.

The case was rough, but it still had the original sticker, and I thought that might help. They also cited disc damage, though I remember it being decent.

I used to have a disc cleaner that worked great pretty good for a month a two, but the replacement parts are discontinued. Keeping one going would mean rebuying the whole machine every few months, which just doesn’t make sense.

> Takeaway: GameStop sourcing can be a dice roll for B2B resale. The margins tight, and the condition risk is higher than I gave it credit for.

On to the next.
